4/19/2011 - ECR APPOINTS DAVID WALSH - DIRECTOR OF SALES Utica, N.Y. – Apr. 19, 2011 – ECR is pleased to announce that David Walsh has been appointed Director of Sales for the organization’s wholesale distribution businesses. David began his career with his family owned plumbing and heating business. David has been in the hydronic and related HVAC business for over 25 years many of which were spent with Weil McLain where he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Dave later held an executive position within distribution and recently owned and operated a representative agency. “I’m excited to be part of a team that’s focused on getting back to basics and being a truly great, customer-oriented boiler and HVAC company” said David Walsh, ECR International Director of Sales. In his new position David will be responsible for sales of boilers, controls, ductless air conditioning, furnaces, micro combined heat and power products, PTACs and indirect water heaters. He will also be responsible for channel management of ECR’s nine brands; Argo, Airco, Dunkirk, ecr, EMI, Olsen, Pennco, RetroAire and Utica.

These changes are occurring to serve you, the customer, better. The most significant change that you will notice is that ECR International HVAC products will now be exclusively represented in Canada by Morden National Sales and Marketing Inc. Morden National Sales and Marketing Inc. is a full-service, independent master sales representative agency dedicated to providing a positive, uncommon customer sales and fulfillment service to their traditional distribution channel partners. During the next 30-120 days, Morden National Sales and Marketing Inc. and ECR will be providing a seamless sales and distribution channel transition from ECR International to Morden National. Here is what you can expect during the next 30-120 days. •Your current local ECR sales representation across Canada will remain the same. •Customer marketing co-op funds and current customer programs will not be affected by the transition from ECR International to Morden National Sales and Marketing Inc. •ECR distribution customer purchase orders may still be placed with the same phone, and fax numbers and email addresses that you utilized to place previous orders to ECR International in Canada. •Accounts payable will still be ECR International as we transition for the next 30-120 days. •Your internal Morden National inside customer service contacts will remain almost the same, with Jeff McPhee and his inside team consisting of Connie St. Pierre and Lee Janisse. •Canadian technical service will be handled by John Crozier •You will still have local inventory stored in Canada at our Base Line Road facility located in Wallaceburg, Ontario.
